Zu diesem seltsamen kommerziellen Konzept, bei dem man für den Kauf bezahlen muss, eine Art privater Club der Online-Bestellung, hat Amazon genügend Bausteine hinzugefügt, um es zu einem der vollständigsten Abonnements überhaupt zu machen. Und bei dem Preis, zu dem es angeboten wird, könnte selbst jemand, der nicht bei Amazon bestellt, in Versuchung geraten, beispielsweise den Streaming Dienst, Amazon Prime Video*, zu nutzen, der einen guten Katalog und beliebte Originale hat.

Amazon Prime Basisleistungen

Das Basisangebot könnte man in einem Satz zusammenfassen: schnellere und kostenlose Lieferung für Produkte, die online bei Amazon gekauft wurden. Aber die Liste der Optionen, die dem Premium-Paket hinzugefügt wurden, ist lang – vielleicht könnte eine davon die knapp 5 Euro pro Monat rechtfertigen, die Jeff Bezos’ Firma verlangt.

Amazon Drive und Prime Photos: Der Service ist nicht sehr bekannt, aber das Prime-Angebot bietet Zugang zu 5 GB Online-Speicher für Dokumente, Videos und Fotos wie jeder andere Cloud-Service. Und es gibt auch Zugang zu Prime Photos, einem unbegrenzten Fotospeicherdienst ähnlich wie Google Photos.

Amazon Prime Video: In Europa haben die Abonnenten von Prime unbegrenzten kostenlosen Zugang zum Streaming-Katalog von Amazon. Dieser Katalog enthält hunderte von Filmen und besonders gute Serien von Amazon, wie z.B. einen Good Omens, The Boys oder The Man in the High Castle und die neue Serie Pennyworth.
